Privacy policy

This website collects nothing about you. Everything below describes what happens when you go on to make a booking or write to us.

Who is responsible

What this website collects

Nothing. These pages are static files. There is no account, no newsletter, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixel. No cookie is set by this site — see the cookie policy for the one thing that is stored in your browser and never leaves it.

The enquiry form on the contact page has no handler behind it. What you type stays in your browser: pressing the button opens your own email application with the message ready, and nothing reaches us until you send it yourself. Nothing is stored on this site either way.

The web server keeps ordinary access logs, as every web server does: the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser's user-agent string. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not combined with anything else or used to profile anyone.

When you book

Reservations are not made on this site. They are made through Bentral or through the listing portal you came from, and while you are in their system you are covered by their privacy notice, not this one. We receive from them the details needed to hold your reservation: your name, contact details, the dates and the number of guests.

When you write or call

If you email or telephone, we hold what you send us for as long as it takes to answer, and then for as long as we may need it for the booking it concerns.

Guest registration

Slovenian law requires accommodation providers to register their guests and to report overnight stays to the authorities and the tourist tax. Where that applies we collect the identity details the law requires, use them for nothing else, and keep them for the period the law prescribes.

Who else sees it

Nobody, beyond the booking system that took the reservation, the authorities where reporting is required by law, and our accountant where the record is part of the accounts. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for marketing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to how it is used, or ask for a copy. Write to us and we will answer. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Informacijski pooblaščenec (Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia) (ip-rs.si).
